² In the ^(A)day of my trouble I sought the Lord;
^(B)In the night my ^(C)hand was stretched out ^[a]without weariness;
My soul ^(D)refused to be comforted.
³ When I remember God, then I am ^(E)disturbed;
When I ^(F)sigh, then ^(G)my spirit grows faint. ^[b]Selah.
⁴ You have held my eyelids open;
I am so troubled that I ^(H)cannot speak.
